Emily Yarascavitch is a fiddling and step-dancing sensation that has already made the traditional music world sit up and take note. With her deft musicality, warm smile and infectious energy, Emily displays a poise and comfort on stage and an ease with complex repertoire that is well beyond her years.
The Oshawa Ontario native has been winning fiddle and step-dancing competitions since she was only six years old and, after several years on the competition and live performance circuit, she displays both the exuberance of youth and the skilled chops of a veteran. Her engaging personality and expressive playing draws audiences in and creates an authentic and memorable connection. Emily is a seasoned talent on the Canadian traditional folk music scene and the best is yet to come!
